After two years of Covid cancellations, Japanese riders were happy to race again in their beloved Niseko Classic under a bright blue sky to qualify for the World Championships.

The weekend announces to be very loaded with lots of opportunities for riders keen on qualifying for the World Championships with 3 races planned from which two also host a time trial.

Gran Fondo Suisse has been very successful this weekend with over 450 riders from 34 different countries competing in the challenging mountains of the Alpes Vaudoises region in southern Switzerland while 150 riders took part in the time trial the day before.

The course of the Swiss qualifier event in Villars sur Ollon this weekend is probably the closest to what riders will get in Trento during the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships in September.

1107 riders took the start in the 128km qualifying distance of the 41th edition of the Tartu Rattaralli in Estonia coming from 27 different countries.

The 41th edition of the Tartu Rattaralli event in Estonia is a new event in the UCI Gran Fondo World Series and offers riders a fast and flat course to qualify for the World Championships. The event has a very long tradition dating back to the early eighties with also an elite event prior to the mass participation event.
