Team Slovenia again winner of the Team Relay
The traditional team relay on Friday evening as a side event of the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships had 19 teams at the start, all formed by 4 riders from which at least one male and one female. Two riders can be of any age, one rider must be over the age of 40 while another needs to be at least 50 years old.

More than 2000 riders have actually registered for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships taking place next week with a time trial on Thursday, a team relay on Friday evening and a Granfondo and Mediofondo on Sunday on the slopes of Monte Bondone.
