The Tour de Bintan weekend was again very successful with more than 500 riders at the start of the 17km time trial on Friday in very hot weather conditions.
The third edition of Cyprus Granfondo as UCI qualifier grew 40% compared to last year with a very international field at the start. The event is the only stage race in the series with two options to qualify for the Granfondo after an initial time trial qualifier on Friday.
600 riders from 31 different nationalities have registered to take part in the third edition of Cyprus Granfondo.
Riders who like to combine some real exotic racing with a nice vacation get the chance this weekend in Bintan, a scenic island located very close to Singapore.
The Japanese qualifier event in Niseko will also include a time trial for this year’s edition of the cycling festival.
With more than 2000 riders competing in the different events of the Bathurst Cycling Classic, the 2019 edition was again a great success. Unless the rainy weather on Sunday, we only saw happy faces at the finish line.
