A three days stage race with a time trial on Thursday and two challenging road races on Friday and Saturday have started the 2023 season at the borders of the Dead Sea.

After a short winter break without events since November, riders can again take part in the UCI Gran Fondo World Series events worldwide and try to qualify for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships who will take place in Scotland in August this year.

Did you already decide where you want to qualify for the 2023 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships. There are 27 races scheduled in the 2023 UCI Gran Fondo World Series qualifying for Glasgow 2023 plus 4 past this year’s World Championships who already qualify for 2024.

The UCI Gran Fondo World Series will expand again next year, featuring six new events for a total of 28 races on five continents.

Antalya hosted the last race of this year with a flat and fast time trial followed by road races split over two distances on Sunday to conclude the season.

The Turkish Mediterranean coast city of Antalya will be the host of the last qualifier option this year with a 20km time trial and 66 or 98km granfondo.
