Tour de Bintan opens the 2018 season
With a three days stage race, Tour de Bintan is the first event of 2018 after a long period without competitions since the Dubai First Granfondo concluded 2017 a few months ago.

With the objective to ensure that athlete safety and performance remain a top priority at the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships, the UCI has confirmed that qualification for the World Championships will be limited to the first 25% of riders in each age group, as per the UCI regulations, and will not include additional recall opportunities.
Canadian qualifier renamed The Blue Mountains Granfondo
The unique qualifier in Canada will be organized for the fourth consecutive year in the Blue Mountains, Ontario. The venue of the event now also appears in the name as Grey County Road Race will be renamed ‘The Blue Mountains Granfondo’.
Granfondo Denmark moves to Grindsted
Scheduled on the weekend of 23-24 June, Granfondo Denmark moves its start and finish this year to the city of Grindsted in the middle of the mainland and close to the international airport of Billund.
Mexican qualifier relocates to San Luis Potosi on the first weekend of July
The Mexican qualifier in the UCI Gran Fondo World Series that took place in Campeche last year will relocate to the city of San Luis Potosi in 2018. The event’s weekend will have a time trial on Saturday July 7th and a Granfondo on Sunday July 8th.
More than 2000 riders hit the Dubai roads
The Dubai First Granfondo, part of the Spinneys 92 cycling festival was held for the eight time this past Friday in the iconic UAE city. It’s the biggest cycling event in the middle east.
