Tour Lakeland for racing in between the beautiful Finnish lakes

The second last qualifier of the season takes place in Lahti, a city one hour north of the capital city of Helsinki and famous for its many high level sports events in summer and winter

The 29km time trial of today starts in the city centre for a back and forth loop over the same road and has only 200m of elevation so can be considered as a mainly flat course.

On Saturday, all riders have the option between a 101km mediofondo as qualifier for the older age groups while all younger riders will have to do the 144km granfondo in order to qualify for worlds.

Both courses follow the same start and finish sections but split after 48km where the granfondo course goes further north. Total elevation is respectively 660 and 830m and can also be considered as flat races.
