Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge with international start field

While winter is going on in the Northern Hemisphere, weather conditions in the United Arabic Emirates are perfect for the third qualifier event in the UCI Gran Fondo World Series. After a long pause without UCI Granfondos, riders can expect sunny weather with a prediction of 26 °C/79°F degrees.

The largest Amateur Cycling Event in the Middle East is organized for the 7th time with a magnificent race through the iconic city of Dubai with start and finish in the Dubai Autodrome. It will be the first time that the 92 km event is part of the UCI Gran Fondo World Series. Start is at 6am in the morning.

The race has a first part through the dessert to return back via the Dubai Marina and the Emirates Hills to finish on the Autodrome. It is a fast course on long wide open roads with some bridges as main difficulties.

A total of 1732 riders have pre-registered with traditionally many different nationalities at the start, lots of them expats.
