One more rider over 75 needed for a separate world title

2600 riders have already signed up for the upcoming World Championships in France in two weeks.

The UK will be the most represented country with 827 participants, but also the home-country France (472), Australia (263), Belgium (104), USA (77), Germany (70), Italy (69), New Zealand (68), Sweden (55), Norway (54), Canada (52), Poland (38), Switzerland (36), Spain (33), the Netherlands (33) and Japan (30) are well represented.

In the road race, 5 male riders over 75 have signed up and we need a 6th participants in order to create and additional official category with a world title and medals. In the time trial, only 1 rider over 75 signed up until now so there’s less chance to create an additional category.

Most popular qualifying event is the Tour of Cambridgeshire delivering 727 riders to the World Championships followed by L’Albigeoise (286), Tour of Ayrshire (209), Amy’s GF (182) and Schleck GF (166).
