Tour of Cambridgeshire with longer course

The English qualifier event is the biggest event in the UCI Gran Fondo World Series in terms of numbers of participants but also in qualified riders taking part in the World Championships every year. This year a so called 'century ride' over 100 miles is added as qualifying distance for the younger men from 19 to 59.

The women and men over 60 will also do a different course with a 67miles circuit which follows the same routes as the 100 miles course but with a shortcut over halfway. The new routes will be totally closed and remain fast and flat with cheering crowds along the course, same as riders can expect during Worlds in Poznan later this year. The time trial on Saturday attracts every year 800 riders lining up for the 16.4 miles course.
