Tour de Brisbane with new time trial and urban Gran Fondo

The third edition of Tour de Brisbane on Saturday and Sunday will be the only qualifying option for the 2022 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships in Australia.

2200 riders have signed up for the traditional 110km Gran Fondo with start and finish in downtown Brisbane for some flat and fast racing over bridges, through tunnels and on the highway with only the 2km steep Mount Coot-tha in the final as major difficulty with the top only 16km before the finish.

On Saturday a new time trial in Rosewood will count as the qualifier option for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships time trial. The 24.8km course is mainly flat with a bit of elevation towards the turning point halfway.
