For those riders who have obtained their race license without a preliminary medical exam, the French law requires them to upload a scan or picture of a medical certificate during registration and bring the original during Worlds when they collect their race pack.
From what we know at this moment, riders from the following countries don’t need to bring a medical certificate: France, Italy, Belgium, Portugal, Slovenia, Holland, Denmark, but there are most likely more countries…
What countries do need to bring a medical certificate: UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Canada but for sure also other countries.
What need to be included in the medical certificate: a simple clarification of your doctor in which (s)he specifies that you’re in good health to take part in a bike competition is enough. There is no specific test required. It’s up to the doctor to judge what’s necessary.
