Lepoutre and de Vries Triumph at The Millars Granfondo

The Millars Granfondo saw 1600 riders kick off its first event. The challenging 178km course in Valencian mountains attracted many international participants.

At the start, two riders, Maxime Pirard (BEL) and Alexander Steffens (GER), broke away but were eventually caught towards the final. In the end, it was a 4-men sprint finish with Tomas Lepoutre (BEL) claiming victory ahead of Emmanuel Cognet (FRA) and Pieter Frolichs (NED).

In the women’s race, Maaike de Vries (NED) dominated early, securing a significant lead in the mountains and finishing almost 11 minutes ahead of Kim Knaeps (BEL) while Hanna Tamoudi (ESP) secured third place overall.
