Granfondo Tre Valli Varesine continues the 2018 Worlds legacy

The 7th edition of the Granfondo in Varese will build further upon the experience of many years of high level professional races and the organisation of the 2018 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships, still the biggest Championships ever held.

2500 riders have registered for the granfondo with on Saturday the traditional 22km time trial towards Ganna where riders turn at the highest point on the course for a second part slightly going down back to the finish in the Varese Hippodrome.

On Sunday riders have the option between a 100km mediofondo or a 126km granfondo with respectively 1640 and 2100m of elevation, combining the three valleys around Varese and the lakes of Lugano, Maggiore and Varese close to the Italian Swiss border.

Since a few years, the event also hosts a gravel race with 400 registered riders.
