Dubai First Granfondo with a big peloton

After a period of more than 10 weeks without a UCI Gran Fondo, Dubai First Granfondo is the next chance for riders wanting to qualify for the World Championships next year in Varese.

With a predicted 20 degrees at the start going up to 27 degrees around noon for the finish, riders can expect a fast and high-level race with start and finish in the Dubai Autodrome.

The 92km race leaves at 6am for a first loop through the dessert to return to the city towards the coastline and the Dubai Marina. Finish is back in Motorcity on the Autodrome.

1800 riders coming from 21 different nationalities have signed up for this biggest cycling event in the Middle East.

Amongst participants we see riders from the UK, Ireland, South Africa, China, India, Denmark, Australia and New Zealand, all keen on trying their chance to qualify for the World Championships.
