The event unfortunately suffered from rainy weather conditions, but the new updated courses were highly appreciated by all participants and showed all the best views of the island.
Andreas Miltiades (M19-34 – CYP) showed his good condition with an overall win during the three consecutive days. Especially his 2m17 ahead of British Ross Fawsett (M19-34) in the time trial is impressive. Russian Petr Ukhov (M35-39) completed the podium of the time trial.
Former World Champion Jessica Rhodes-Jones (F19-34 – GBR) was the overall female winner of the time trial beating Russian Anastasia Chulkova (F19-34) and Greek Anna-Maria Zogli (F35-39).
The queen stage on Saturday had updated courses which also suited Andreas Miltiades to renew his win of the time trial. Ross Fawsett renewed his silver while David Williams took third overall.
Polish Alina Mylka was the fastest female in stage two, five minutes ahead of Russians Anastasia Chulkova and Irina Zhurva.
The last short stage on Sunday had the same winners as the day before, both securing the overall ranking. Also second spots remained with the same riders while Dmitriy Puzanov and Bella Leach completed the day-podiums with their third places.
