Biggest Granfondo in the Middle East to happen now on Sunday

With start and finish in the Dubai International Stadium, the 95km Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge is probably the fastest and most international race in the UCI Gran Fondo World Series, featuring all iconic landmarks of the city.

The 13th edition of the event first heads towards the Emirates Hills to pass again near the finish line after 33km for a second loop around the Expo City Dubai in the south to then head northwards towards global village where riders pass after 82km at the most northern point of the race before going back to the finish line at the Dubai international stadium.

Most of the course is on wide open roads who are totally free for traffic with an elevation of maximum 40m above sea level. Last year the race ended with a sprint of 4 with British Simon Henley outsprinting his opponents on the line while Egyptian Ebtissam Zayed finished as first female only 25 seconds later in a larger group. Both winners had an average speed of 43.5 km/h.

As every year, more than 2000 participants have signed up! New is that the top 25% will again qualify for Worlds!
