UCI Granfondo Loutraki opens battle for the 2026 Worlds tickets

Two weeks after the very succesful UCI Gran Fondo World Championships in Australia, the season continues with a second qualifier event in Greece.

UCI Gran Fondo Loutraki is a brand new event in the series and takes place on the Isthmus of Corinth, famous for the Cortinh Canal.

The 112km course starts in Loutraki in front of the Club Hotel Casino Loutraki. The course follows the borders of the Saronic Gulf towards the capital city of Athens to then turn inland for a climb in two parts towards a maximum elevation oof 300m.  It’s a rolling climb with an average gradient of 3.1%, followed by a downhill back to the coastline where the same road goes back to the finish.

400 riders from 25 different countries have registered and combine the event with a well-deserved end-of-season break in this tourist destination.
