UCI Granfondo Casablanca starts qualifier season in 2020 on updated courses

Three months after the last qualifier in 2019, UCI is happy to have a new African qualifier event in the series which will be held in the iconic city of Casablanca with start and finish on the beach.

The event organizers had to update their race courses in the last few days as the original courses that had been proposed were no longer available.

The time trial that takes place on Friday will be 4 laps of 6.27km up and down the beach road for a total distance of 25km and an elevation of 150m. You can find the new time trial course here : https://www.strava.com/routes/23976384

Also the Granfondo and Mediofondo course got an update this week with now one lap of 58km for the men 60+ and women 50+ on a loop going inlands to a point 171m above sea level to return back to the finish line. The Granfondo for men 19-59 and women 19-49 have the same loop twice for a total distance of 116.5km and an elevation of 777m. You can find that course here : https://www.strava.com/routes/23976372
