Tartu Rattaralli offers some fast racing this weekend

The 41th edition of the Tartu Rattaralli event in Estonia is a new event in the UCI Gran Fondo World Series and offers riders a fast and flat course to qualify for the World Championships. The event has a very long tradition dating back to the early eighties with also an elite event prior to the mass participation event.

At this moment, 2700 riders from 27 countries have registered for one of the 3 distances with 1230 of them doing the 128km qualifier distance. The granfondo is coming directly after the Tour of Estonia elite race from Thursday to Sunday and most elite riders also participate in the granfondo.

The race will be broadcasted live on social media.

The course recently had to be updated due to construction works with now a new course leading the riders in a loop towards Lake Peipus on mainly flat and fast roads with one 1.5km upgoing road coming after 21km, but with a total elevation of only 650m, it can be considered as a flat event.
