Grey County Road Race with less elevation

The Canadian qualifier event in The Blue Mountains have proven in the past years to be hard but fair for strong classical riders who can pass a hill.

The time trial relocates to the Thursday and is with 33km the longest time trial in the series. Start and finish are set in Thornbury and the course has a steep 3.5km climb along the road. The final part is downhill.

Also the road races moves one day to the front to take place on Saturday. There are two different distances: 110km (1363 elevation) for the women and men above 50 and 150km (1734 elevation) for the younger males. These new road race courses have less elevation than last year, but the famous Scenic Caves Climb in the final remains in the circuit.

Numbers of registered riders have gone up again with a total of 300 preregistered for the weekend.
