Granfondo Tre Valli Varesine with former top stars at the start this weekend

In legacy of the very successful 2018 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships, still the biggest World Championships in the history of the race, Granfondo Tre Valli Varesine continues on the same courses with a time trial on Saturday and a Granfondo and mediofondo on Sunday.

The receipts remain the same : a 22km time trial on Saturday towards a turning point on the highest point of the course for a total elevation of 220m.

The next day, the courses have slightly changed towards the 2018 edition with now a 100km mediofondo and a 126km granfondo, both challenging with respectively 1640 and 2100m of elevation.

The organizers invited some former top stars like Pascal Richard, Ivan Basso and Fabio Aru to be present on Sunday. Over 2000 riders will be present in one of both races. On Saturday, a new non-competitive gravel event has been added to the program.
