David Vaz again king of Mirador do Ezaro

The Spanish qualifier event of Granfondo Ezaro in the north western province of Galicia was again for Portuguese David Vaz who also took the win in the previous two editions of the race as UCI Granfondo in 2018 and 2019.

Vaz (M40-44) reached the finish line on top of the very steep Mirado do Ezaro, 1,8km at an average of 14% with parts up to 30% with 27 seconds lead over Eduardo Estevez Alonso (M35-39) who rode the fastest time during the final climb while Damian Ramos Sanchez (M35-39) got overall third. Granfondo Ezaro also welcomed a few of the former Spanish topstars at the start with 2008 Olympic champion Samuel Sanchez who finished as overall 6th while 4-times Vuelta winner Roberto Heras got second place in the short course where also Alvaro Pino took part.

That short course was won by French Philippe Le Peurien (M60-64) before Heras and Juan Luis Lopez. First female in the short course was Barca Toba Suarez (F35-39) before Julia Rubio Perez (F50-54) and Mon Constenla (F40-44).

The fastest time on Mirador do Ezaro was for Samuel Blanco in a time of 8:02 during the first passage.
