2200 riders to attend B2B Cyclo Sportif Challenge

The 2017 Blayney to Bathurst Cyclo Sportif with a time trial on Saturday and a Granfondo on Sunday has reached in its first year as a UCI Gran Fondo qualifier a new participants' record with 2200 riders at the start.

The overall win on Sunday was for Dylan Sunderland, covering the 110km in 2h35 beating Marcus Culey and Michael Potter in the sprint. The average speed of the winner was 42.6km/h.

First female in the race was Lucy Bechtel who covered the same distance in a time of just under 3h (36.6 km/h average) to beat Deborah Hennessey and Lisa Keeling with almost 4 minutes.

The time trial on Saturday on a 4.1km hill climb was won by Michael Potter in a time of 8:29 (28.9 km/h average) while Nicky Western was the fastest female on the same course in a time of 11:05 (22,18 km/h average).
