The Granfondo started early in the morning with a male and female wave with 7 minutes interval. The first part was on wide open roads towards the main difficulty of the day, a cobblestone section of 2km, directly followed by an 11km climb where the groups were split and positions decided.
Jorge Lino (M35-39) outsprinted Ricardo Estrado Ramirez (M19-34) to take the overall win in the males age groups while Victor Hugo Tapia Rodriguez took overall third to win his M45-49 age group.
The female race which started later had Gabriela Mijangoz Diaz as overall winner in a solo break 7 minutes ahead of Carime Florez Marquez who outsprinted third other girls with Virdiana Olmos Lases taking third spot.
The time trial on Saturday in the beautiful Tangamanga park on undulating roads and wide open boulevards saw Brazilian Joao Vitor Oliveira Fernandes renewing his win from last year before Raphael Menu Sagramoso and Robinson Segundo Miranda with respectively 17 and 24 seconds.
First female in the time trial was Ana Elizabeth Puga Ching before Rosa Salinas Portales while Margarita Josefina Salgado Eisering took third spot to win her 50-54 age group. The average speed of both ITT winners was respectively 42.8 and 38.1 km/h
