BelgiumGranfondo Belgium joined the UCI Gran Fondo World Series since 2025 and is organized in the Southern vacation town of Lac de l’Eau d’Heure in between the lakes. The course winds its way through the Belgian-French border region.
Course
For its second edition, the course will get a major update with a large local lap to be done two or three times. Start is located in Froidchapelle and finish on the borders of the Lake. More information later!
LAC DE L’EAU D’HEURE
Lac de l’Eau d’Heure is a largest lake region in Belgium composing of 5 articial lakes in the Hainaut province. These lakes were created with a series of dams, resulting in a vast expanse of water and surrounding landscapes.
The area has been developed for outdoor recreation with water sports, hiking and cycling, fishing and an adventure park.
The major attraction of the area is the Plate Taille Dam, offering panoramic views from its skywalk
