The last qualifier in the UCI Gran Fondo World Series anno 2024 will take place in Antalya this weekend where the traditional Nirvana Gran Fondo Antalya in the tourist destination on the Turkish Riviera takes place and riders can enjoy the hospitality of the region with a time trial and granfondo.
The time time on Friday is a flat out and back loop not so far from the Nirvana Cosmopolitan hotel which is the host hotel of the event where all official activities take place. The course next to a channel goes to a turning point halfway the 20km course to finish next to the start.
In the 97km granfondo two days later, the first and last kilometers are completely flat in the same area as the time trial, but the halfway point has some minor hills to a highest point 133m above sea level at the 40km mark.
The shorter 66km course as qualifier distance for all men over 60 and women over 50 skips most the highest hill and goes to a highest point only 67m above the sea before returning to the Nirvana hotel where the start and finish are located.
