Granfondo Antalya moved location for its fifth edition, moving more towards the region just south of the airport.
In the flat time trial on Friday, the overall win was for Turkish Danil Konotop who rode the 22.8km distance in 27m45 and an average speed of 49.30 km/h. Sergei Serdiuk was in second at 1m10 with German Michael Gannopolskij as third at 1m28.
The female time trial win was for Ekaterina Gurenkova in a time of 32m08 (42.57 km/h), 52 seconds ahead to 45-49 world champion Marina Letaeva with Martyna Wisniewska from Poland as third at 59 seconds.
With a day of rest on Saturday offering a perfect opportunity to enjoy the Turkish Riviera, the granfondo on Sunday had two distances with the 92km race as qualifier for younger categories and the 60km race for all men over 60 and women over 50.
The overall win was for German Michael Gannopolskij (M40-44) who broke away and finished solo with almost one minute to 13 riders who sprinted for overall second and the win in the 19-34 and 35-39 categories. 32-year-old Dmitrii Shevarov was the fastest in the men 19-34. He beated Maksim Fladzechka who won the 35-39 and Onur Daglioglu in the sprint.
The women race was for Daria Pravilova from the 35-39 category who was 8 minutes ahead of Alina Kolesnikova beating Martyna Wisniewska in a sprint for second place.
In the shorter 60km race as qualifier for the older categories, the best times in the men over 60 was for Merx Splawski from Poland. Best female over 50 was Marina Osipova.
