UCI Gran Fondo World Championships 2029-2032 awarded in Rwanda

The UCI management committee has awarded the next 4 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships in their meeting during the Road World Championships in Rwanda this week.

The 2029 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships will take place in Mörbisch-am-See in Austria, host of the yearly Neusiedlersee Radmarathon on a flat and fast course.

In 2030, these World Championships will move to Switzerland where Villars-sur-Ollon, already awarded to run the 2029 UCI Gravel World Championships near the UCI headquarters, will organize the Granfondo championships in a true paradise for climbers in the Alpes Vaudoises region.

The UCI has also awarded the third edition of the combined World Championships to the region of Trentino, already host of the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships in 2013 and 2022.

The city of Aalborg in Denmark was already host of 2 successful editions of the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships in 2015 and 2024 and will now organize again the 2032 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships on a wellknown flat and fast course.
