Road race
The Neusiedlersee Radmarathon is a 127km race around the Neusiedlersee lake and can be considered as a flat, fast and tactical race with only some minor hills in the beginning. The start at an elevation of 100m follows the first 2km of the time trial on Saturday and reaches its highest point after 10km where riders cross the Hungarian border to have a 40km loop in Hungary before entering Austria again for a loop around the lake. All these roads are mainly flat and the only option for an attack might be with 10km to go to the finish when leaving Oslip where the road goes up again towards Morbisch.
