BrazilUCI Gran Fondo Brasil has been organised for the first time in 2023 and is organized in the southern Santa Catarina region in Brasil.

The road races have two distances: a 120km km granfondo distance for all men up to the age of 59 and all women up to the age of 49 years old while the shorter 80km mediofondo distance counts as official qualifier distance for the men above 60 and women above 50.
Both courses share the same roads with the mediofondo making a shortcut halfway.
The challenging course features a loop design, with the first section heading northeast. Riders face an initial 4km climb, starting at sea level and ascending to nearly 300m. This climb is repeated on the return leg after 24km.
The course then loops northwest towards the day’s highest point at 400m. The 7km climb, with an average gradient of 4%, is the most demanding section of the route. After the descent, riders complete a southern loop before finishing the 120km course.
To accommodate older riders, categories 60+ (men) and 50+ (women) follow a shorter 80km route, bypassing the challenging northwestern loop.
The 120km course offers a total elevation gain of 1239m, while the shorter 80km route has 809m of elevation.
