Gran Fondo Chile is a new event on the UCI calendar and will take place for the first time in October 2026. It’s organised by the team behind the succesful Granfondo Brazil and Granfondo Colombia. The day before a new UCI Gravel World Series is also organizer on the same location.



Gran Fondo
The 114km Granfondo is the qualifier distance for all men 19-59 and women 19-49, starting and finishing in Lago Ranco and makes one loop around the Ranco lake. The route around the lake is always going up and down and is challenging with its 1554m of elevation.. There are several short but punchy climbs.
Medio Fondo
The Mediofondo as qualifier for all men 60+ and women 50+ is 80km long. It starts in reverse direction as the granfondo distance to go in clockwise order around the lake to make a U-turn after exactly 40km to come back over the same road for a total elevation of 723m
LAGO RANCO
Nestled in the Los Ríos Region of southern Chile, Lago Ranco is one of the country’s largest and most picturesque lakes, surrounded by lush temperate rainforests, rolling hills and snow-capped peaks of the Andes.
