Amy’s Granfondo offers new course

The second qualifier of the new 2020 UCI Gran Fondo World Series season takes place this weekend in Lorne (VIC, Australia). The race has been part of the series since 2011 and has always served as a well organized qualifier event with the iconic Great Ocean Road as a background. The key message of the event has always been safety on the road with mandatory safety briefings and a totally traffic free course.

Riders will see an additional 10km being added to the existing course with an extra loop between Deans Marsh and Forrest. The new 130km course will however have no extra elevation as the new section is fast and flat.

The last part of the road will again go over the traffic free Great Ocean Road, a unique experience for the 5000 participants that take part every year in one of the biggest Granfondos worldwide.
